Description

The Cinturato™ Gravel M is a gravel-specific tyre designed for mixed terrain, where the surface varies between compact and unstable terrain and all intermediate types. The tread consists of knobs with average height and spacing to guarantee excellent performance on a wide range of terrains. The special SpeedGRIP Compound adds features of mechanical resistance and chemical grip, without compromising the rolling efficiency. The Cinturato™ Gravel M is a high-performance tyre with unique characteristics of grip in all weather conditions, both wet or dry, plus a high level of puncture protection. 

Combining the technologies derived from road-specific reinforced casings with the MTB-specific casings to create the most advanced gravel casing using special fabric reinforcement and thicker layers of rubber in specific areas of the tyre. On the road the majority of punctures are caused by the penetration of sharp objects while off-road the most common punctures are caused by sidewall cuts, for this reason the TechWALL Gravel features a cut-resistant 120tpi fabric all over the perimeter of the tyre, whilst still offering a supple riding feeling.

The SpeedGRIP Compound is a gravel-specific rubber formulation engineered from experience in the World Rally Championship, where the performances of speed and grip on and off-road are crucial. This chemical formulation relies on the polymer matrix of the MTB-specific compound while lowering its rolling resistance. The gravel application requires good speed and both on-and-off-road capabilities, SpeedGRIP compound features a small compromise on grip, whilst offering predictable handling on all surfaces.
